My New Year’s Resolution is to get better at updating my tumblr so I will start the year with this post. An attempt at recapping 2011.
JANUARY
Notable Activities: Ringing in 2011 with good friends, driving up to Riverside to visit Andrew in the Stixs, throwing a surprise birthday party for Cathy, playing Assassins on Blake 3, celebrating Steph’s 19th birthday at Seaport Village
FEBRUARY
Notable activities: Getting dressed up for Sara’s 19th birthday celebration, more ridiculous safety items for Assasins and I think for me at least, this month was when Blake 3 started feeling more like a family
MARCH
Notable activities: Pulling all-nighters for HUM essays on Blake 4, more floor bonding events, going to PF Chang’s the weekend before finals, the end to what seemed like a very long winter quarter and James Wang in Mira Mesa during spring break
APRIL
Notable activities: Going all out with pranks for April Fool’s Day, more family birthdays, I rediscover my love for bounce houses, Jake visits after returning from BYU, Mr. Espinoza is a Hispanic Hero and we’re all so proud!
MAY
Notable activities: Our “annual” Padre game with Vangrove, Mother’s Day with the family, Andrew delivers chocolate fountains on his birthday, the Revelle Leaders banquet with RCO and celebrating my 19th birthday with great company
JUNE
Notable activities: The end of freshmen year, moving out of Blake, saying good-bye to Celine, finally partaking in typical SD summer festivities (aka the beach and the Del Mar Fair) before the start of summer session at UCSD
JULY
Notable activities: Celebrating Grandma’s 72nd birthday, Andrew and Kelli come join me at summer session, midnight bowling, the Reeds residence to watch Shameless, eating large portions at Hash House a Go Go and more EATING duh
AUGUST
Notable activities: Rachna comes to SD to visit, finally hanging out with fwends (it takes so much work to get all of us in one place now-a-days), more beach days and more school work
SEPTEMBER
Notable activities: Finishing my last final marking the end of summer session and heading downtown for Kelli’s 19th birthday, going to Gravid Water in LA, spending the evening gambling and eating ice cream during the black out, biking to Vangrove’s and a last dinner before school resumes
October
Notable activities: Apartment bonding, exploring the bioluminescent waves at La Jolla Shores and making the long trek to Revelle for Celine’s 19th birthday
NOVEMBER
Notable activities: Going home for Sydney’s 2nd birthday, our overly offensive/annual Sloppy Seconds dinner, more apartment bonding as we decorate our blank walls with hot men
DECEMBER
Notable activities: Secret Santa at UCSD, Carolyn finally cracks during finals weeks and admits her love for One Direction, winter break begins (when it felt like it would never arrive), Kelli and Andrew take me to Roscoe’s for the first time ever, sleepover at Tracey’s house, and Las Vegas with the family
